 The Biofreeze spray has the highest concentration of menthol of any of the Biofreeze products (10%), so if that cold, soothing feeling is what you are after, the 16oz spray is the best value. The original Biofreeze gel is still available in larger bottles, however the cryospray is only available in 4oz and 16oz sizes. We do receive shipments of Biofreeze several times each week, so we always have the latest expiration dates available.
This product is definitely a staff favorite because it is clean to use, easy to share, and the pain relief lasts a long time. We highly recommend it for athletic trainers, school nurses, and any home or office medicine cabinet.

 What is the difference between the spray and the gel? The spray has considerably more Menthol than the gel and it also has MSM (dimethyl sulfone), arnica, and other natural ingredients that the gel does not have. Both the gel and the spray contain Ilex.
Is Biofreeze sold in pharmacies? No, Biofreeze is not able to be sold in pharmacies, and we ask pharmacies to refrain from ordering from us.
Where can I buy Biofreeze? Biofreeze is sold by some doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists, and at online specialty stores like ours.
How big is the 16oz bottle? A 16oz bottle is roughly 9 inches tall and 16 oz. is roughly the equivalent of 2 cups. What is the expiration date on the 16oz bottle? The expiration dates change every few weeks, but all of our stock is shipped out within a month of receiving it, so the expiration dates are the latest available. For most products, the expiration date is at least 1 year away and is often 2+ years away. Please call if you would like to know the specific expiration dates on the current stock.
What other products work with Biofreeze to help relieve pain and discomfort? We strongly recommend using the compression products from Cho-Pat or Zensahin conjunction with Biofreeze because they are more breathable than typical neoprene braces which often serve to warm rather than cool the injured area, however the skin should not be bandaged directly after applying Biofreeze. Also, Traumeel is often prescribed along-side Biofreeze to help heal and treat the causes of soreness while Biofreeze helps to relieve the pain. Because Traumeel is all natural, it has no drug or analgesic reactions and it is the only additional analgesic product that can be used with menthol-based pain relief products.
Is the spray the strongest formula of Biofreeze? No, the Biofreeze Pain Relieving Wipes actually have slightly more menthol (10.5%) than the spray, but they are very close.

Due to Federal regulations, aerosol cans cannot be shipped to APOs or FPOs and these items will automatically be cancelled out of any orders.
AEROSOL CANS – Due to Federal Aviation Administration regulations, these items cannot be shipped via air and so must be shipped via ground transportation. Economy shipping on these items can take up to 12 business days. All upgraded shipping options will be sent via FedEx Ground and will arrive in 2-6 business days.
PO BOXES/ RURAL ADDRESSES – Orders may be shipped via either USPS or FedEx at our discretion. Please indicate in the Comments section if the address you provided will not be valid with one of these carriers and provide an alternate address if applicable.
