Tamarack’s prosthetic liner patches use GlideWear® Technology to provide protection to the skin in areas at risk from high shear forces. An amputee's residual limb can experience a lot of pulling under a prosthetic liner, sock, and socket. These patches enhance a good socket fit by providing strategic friction reduction to reduce the shear stress that causes irritation, discomfort and skin breakdown on any of the usual trouble areas an amputee may experience. They stay in place on their own under the silicone, urethane or gel liner, and will not wear out during the day. Very durable and easy to wash and reuse, the three different sizes of the Prosthetic Liner Patches are a perfect solution to allow you to wear your prosthesis all day long!
GlideWear’s patented low-friction fabric technology has been used for years in various product formats to provide protection between skin and clothing, footwear, orthotic and prosthetic devices, wheelchair seating, and mattress covers.
