I would like this product for my 11.5 yr old son. What size would you recommend?

The manufacturer does state specific sizing instructions for this particular product. From experience selling this product over the years, we would suggest the youth if he is a small kid and the S/M if he is a larger kid. I am sorry we can not be anymore specific than that.
